I became a Counsellor and Gestalt Therapist out of a passion to connect with others and help by drawing on my own life experiences. My personal journey encompasses over 20 years managing, coaching and mentoring people in the corporate world and understanding the anxiety, stress and pressures of such a demanding environment. I have lived in different countries and experienced different cultures as well as connecting with others from diverse backgrounds. Through forgiveness and acceptance of myself and others, I have come to a place of peace. Through my own life challenges and overcoming loneliness, loss, grief, stress, anxiety and fears, I have developed a sense of purpose, purpose to listen, support and empower others to make life changing choices.
I find it personally rewarding working with the senior citizens, focusing on past and present experiences and helping to maintain a healthy mental approach to life’s challenges. I also love working with LGBTQIA+ people, connecting and supporting the diversity of others. I am privileged to have been on a 15-year journey with a transgender friend and seen her struggles daily.
My aim as a therapist is to create a safe, non-judgmental space, where you feel supported and held. I am an empathetic, compassionate person with a keen interest in people and their life experiences. I am patient, open minded.
