Event Details

This 6 Day residential immersion workshop offers participants an opportunity to experience cutting edge practices that connect us deeply to our shared ecology, ancestry and community.

Separation from body and earth are two outcomes of individualism which has led to negative effects on individuals, communities and our planet. This has contributed globally to mental health and ecological crisis.

We need to shift away from the dominant culture of individualism, oppression, isolation, and competition, toward renewed community connection and connection with our planet. This is urgent.

Through the Somatic practices of Touch, Play, Ceremony, and Relational Storytelling we will reconnect through our embodiment with our home; the earth, hereby counteracting the culture of desensitization.

From this crucial ground, we will explore how individuals, communities, organizations and movements can develop and thrive through meaningful, inclusive and enduring engagement with each other and our deep ecology.

This workshop is designed to give participants a deep experience of a culture of connection, belonging, and inclusion, with embodiment as the key to our ecological understanding. If we have  well-grounded, fully embodied relational selves, this cultivates a culture that remembers and reclaims our role as living beings and stewards that rise to the challenge of embracing diversity and complexity in a living interdependent Ecosphere.

It integrates Gestalt philosophy, social neuroscience, somatic practices and indigenous ontologies, which see humans as radically prosocial animals and embodied culture as a vital intervention to generate ecological, social and individual resilience.

This workshop welcomes change makers, therapists, activists and any human wishing to engage more fully with their embodiment and their planet.
